2. Information and purposes
If you email us about fashion, events, books, or other services, we use the information you choose to send to respond and manage your enquiry. If you create an account, authentication information is used to provide and protect your account. Your shopping bag is currently stored in your own browser, using the product information you select. We do not ask for payment-card information by email.
When our direct checkout is launched, order and delivery details may need to be shared with payment processors and fulfilment providers so that purchases can be completed. Any such processing and our final retention periods will be reviewed before checkout is enabled.
3. Cookies and website storage
Necessary: the website can use storage for a requested shopping bag, sign-in/security and remembering your cookie decision. Essential security, network and operational processes may also be provided by our hosting platform.
Basic visit measurement before your choice: Floot counts page views with a temporary session identifier held in memory, not saved on your device. Its measurements can include the page path, referrer, browser user agent and language, and approximate country derived from time zone. It does not retain the URL query string or IP address as analytics fields.
Optional browser-stored analytics: If you choose “Allow analytics”, Floot remembers a short session identifier in browser storage so visits can be grouped. If you choose “Reject optional analytics”, Floot's visitor measurement is turned off entirely. Both choices are available without losing access to the boutique.
Other services: externally linked sites (including Printify, Lulu, or future payment providers) have their own privacy and cookie practices. We do not claim our settings control cookies on those websites. Before adding any new advertising or analytics integrations to BGSM, we must review and gate them appropriately.
4. Change your privacy choice
You can withdraw or give optional analytics consent at any time without affecting the shopping experience. Your preference is saved in your browser so you need not answer on each visit.
5. Sharing, security and retention
We use website infrastructure and may work with service providers including Floot, Stripe, Printify and Printful where relevant to the service you request. We do not sell personal contact details to advertisers. Access and use of personal information is limited to what is appropriate for enquiries, account access, lawful operations and, when available, orders. We retain records only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or applicable legal duties; specific retention schedules require final operational review.
